Faculty
The
faculty of the Division of Classics possess a wide range of expertise, from Homer, to late antiquity and early Christianity, to Medieval and Renaissance studies, encompassing language, literature, history, philosophy, art, material culture, and the Classical Tradition. In addition to being active research scholars, members of the Classics faculty have won awards for their teaching and advising, and foster and participate in the broader community of those interested in classical languages and cultures both in the local area and across the world. In addition, members of the departments of History, Philosophy, and Art History who work in fields from antiquity through the early modern period further enrich the expertise and course offerings of the Classics faculty.
