The KWLA--Kentucky World Language Association (http://www.kwla-online.org/)--brings together language professionals from across the state in an effort to promote, enhance, and sustain instruction in foreign languages and cultures at all levels.  The KWLA annual conference features instructors and represenatatives from related fields in order to share new pedagogical and scholarly advances and to brainstorm ways to continue to grow world language education in Kentucky.  The KWLA web site provides a wealth of information on joining the organization, participating in the annual conference, and advocating on behalf of world language education both within and outside Kentucky.  For more information or to join KWLA, click on the link above.  MCLLC supports the mission of the organization and department faculty routinely participates in the annual conference.

UK also serves as host to KWLA's annual Kentucky World Language Showcase in April. We are proud to foster the next generation of learners of world languages and global cultures.
