The KWLA--Kentucky World Language Association (http://www.kwla-online.org/) brings together language professionals from across the state in an effort to promote, enhance, and sustain instruction in foreign languages and cultures at all levels.  The KWLA annual conference brings together instructors and represenatatives from related fields in order to share new pedagogical and scholarly advances and to brainstorm ways to continue to grow foreign language education in Kentucky.  The KWLA web site provides a wealth of information on joining the organization, participating in the annual conference, and advocating on behalf of foreign language education both within and outside Kentucky.  For more information or to join KWLA, click on the link above.  MCL supports the mission of the organization and department faculty routinely participate in the annual conference.
