Biography

Christina is a graduate student in the dual degree program of Classics and Teaching World Languages with an anticipated graduation in 2023. Before coming to the University of Kentucky, Christina was a Latin teacher of six years for various levels of Latin. Christina has worked with Dr. Tunberg, Minkova, and Lauresdorf as a part of the Latin Colloquia. Transcribing, recording, and editing Latin language colloquia. Christina also served as host and co-editor of the WRFL radio show Classical Musings from 2021-2022 and has done several special interviews about the impact of mediterranean studies. Her current interests are  Second Language Acquisition studies applied to the study of Latin, Latin Pedagogy (both current and of the Renaissance), and the use of Wordplay in Latin and Greek texts.
