Biography
Though born in the US, I lived in Sweden between the ages of 3-12, a time during which I developed a fascination with, and dependency on, languages. I spent my high school and undergraduate years in Charleston, SC at the Honors College at the College of Charleston, where I majored in Classics with a minor in German. After graduation, I wanted to hone and perfect my linguistic capabilities, and was accepted to the Post-Baccalaureate Program in Classics at the University of Pennsylvania. While at UPenn, I worked as a curator for rare books, special collections, and manuscripts at the Kislak Center, a place where knowledge of various languages proved very useful.
