L.J. earned his AB from Hamilton College in 2012 with coursework in Classical Languages, Africana Studies, and Comparative Literature. Before coming to the University of Kentucky, he taught Latin and World History at Westtown School, a small Quaker boarding school outside of Philadelphia. He an instructor on the Paideia Institute for Humanistic Study's Living Latin in Rome High School program. His research interests are Latin Pedagogy, Africa in the ancient world, and Latin elegy.
