The Japan Teaching and Exchange (JET) Program, sponsored by the Japanese government, is one of the most successful exchange programs in the world. Its application is now available (http://www.us.emb-japan.go.jp/JET/application.html), and the special JET information session is scheduled for this coming Thursday, Oct 31, from 3:30 to 5 at . Japanese language ability is *not* a requirement for Assistant Language Teachers (ALT) applicants, and any major is accepted. Please encourage your students to come to the information session.
