Testimonials

Project GO was a once-in-a lifetime experience. Cultural immersion is not only instrumental in language training, but it truly opened my eyes to reevaluate my values, goals, and purpose as to why I want to serve our beautiful country and learn a critical language. We lived like students while exploring Jordan on the weekends; Qasid included incredible trips like riding camels through the desert, floating in the Dead Sea, exploring Petra, and visiting historic sites like Mt Nebo and Jerash.

In my opinion, the best way to supplement any language learning is to study abroad and immerse yourself into that community and culture. As an Arabic student, I had the opportunity to study in Amman, Jordan through Project GO. The classroom instruction was top notch, but the real learning happened in the city - where I could practice my language skills by ordering a meal or hailing a taxi. In addition to the exceptional learning atmosphere, I also had the chance to see what the rest of the country had to offer; we hiked through the City of Petra and spent a day at the Red Sea, amongst other places. I highly recommend studying abroad through a program like Project GO as it will afford you an opportunity to advance your language and cultural knowledge, make amazing friendships, and see the world from a different perspective!

Лучше один раз увидеть, чем сто раз услышать" which translates to "It's better to see it once, than to hear it a hundred times" I studied Russian for years, but the immersion program was truly a unique experience. I highly recommend any immersion style program, such as Project GO, to anyone interested in getting firsthand experience and learning about a foreign culture. You won't regret it!

There's no better way to learn a language than to completely immerse yourself in it. Traveling to Jordan through UK was a great experience not only for the immersion of language but learning the cultural aspects of the language as well. This trip has helped me shape the future I've always wanted for myself.

I highly recommend studying Arabic abroad because it is both the most fun and efficient way to learn a language. Although challenging, the reward of learning about a new culture from new friends is unmatched. When I speak Arabic, strangers and friends' eyes light up becuase I chose to study their language. From originally studying abroad in Morocco in 2011 to feeling that Morocco is a second home now, language has always been a crucial way to promote a deeper understanding of each other's cultures and create lasting friendships.
