STEMCats: Assisting with Science

While STEMCats may be one of the newest Living Learning Communities on campus, it is providing incoming students with many unique opportunities. Students are not only able to live on campus and take courses with like-minded peers, but STEMCats also allows incoming freshmen students to participate in research and connect with peers, upperclassmen, and professors. In this podcast, we talk with several Undergraduate Instructional Assistants, or UIA’s, who have been building connections with STEMCats freshmen through sharing their experiences.

Civic Engagement on Campus: LEXengaged with Lynn Phillips and Rosie Moosnick

Greenhouse Bike Giveaway

Greenhouse, the new Living Learning Program put together by a partnership between the College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, is opening its doors next semester. As an incentive for students to join the new community, Greenhouse has organized a giveaway of several new bikes.

It Runs in the Family: Conversations with Siblings in A&S Wired

The A&S Wired Living Learning Community, housed in Champions Court II, gives freshman students the opportunity to create lasting bonds within the dorm and within the classroom. A&S Wired allows students to shape their own education experience through innovative, technology-driven courses taken alongside fellow Wired students.
