In conjunction the College of Arts and Sciences, the MATWL program is pleased to offer substantial financial support for U.S. students who are seeking teacher certification in Chinese.
Not only an award-winning student, but Shaver is also working on two master's degrees currently: a Master’s in the Teaching of World Languages, focusing on German – and the other in Teaching English as a Second Language.
Most students begin taking courses during the summer (indicated below as Summer 1). Courses continue throught the following summer (Summer 2). The MATWL program allows for flexibility so students should talk with the director of the program each semester to ensure that they are on the schedule that fits their situation.
