Born in Hong Kong and raised in California, I came to Kentucky in 2022. I am a linguist by training, and historical Semitic linguistics is my main area of interest.
I grew up bilingual in English and Chinese and also fluent in Hebrew and Arabic and teach both at the University of Kentucky. I also speak Spanish, German, and Persian (Farsi).
