Hello, everyone! My name is Rae Bandy (they/she pronouns), and I am a third-year History and Jewish Studies student here at the University of Kentucky. I am originally from Dacula, GA (just outside of Atlanta) but have found my home in Lexington, KY thanks to my family legacies here at UK. My studies have led me to present research on the Book of Esther to Johns Hopkins University, and I hope to attend graduate school to study the Ancient Near East and Jewish history. Apart from my academics, I am involved in several student organizations such as Hillel and WRFL, where I currently host my own radio shows and work as the Local Music Director. I am delighted to be on the 2021-2022 Arts and Sciences Ambassadors team, and I look forward to meeting more students across the university!
