Minor in Russian Studies

In the current climate of international cooperation in governmental agencies, businesses and research endeavors, the Russian Studies Minor is a good choice for students in areas such as Business and Economics, the Social Sciences as well as the Physical Sciences.

Minimum of 18 hours beyond second-year proficiency in Russian language (RUS 202) distributed as follows:

  • 6 hours of Russian language courses at the 300 level or above
  • 12 hours of additional course work in designated Russian area studies courses, of which at least 9 hours must be in RUS courses.

TOTAL: 18 hours

NOTE that RUS 395 Independent Work in Russian Studies may not be used for the Russian Studies Minor.
